Organic Removal: House Wash

A soft wash house wash is a gentle cleaning process that effectively removes organic buildup, such as algae and mildew, from a home's exterior. Unlike high-pressure washing, which can damage surfaces, soft washing uses low-pressure water combined with specialized cleaning solutions to safely clean.

The cleaning process includes assessment, preparation, application, dwell time, rinsing, and post-wash inspection. Assessment involves a thorough inspection of the house exterior to identify the extent of the organic buildup and any areas that may require additional attention. Preparation focuses on protecting landscaping and furniture from overspray, feeding out the hose, and setting up the wash trailer. This step also includes testing a small spot to ensure the effectiveness of the selected cleaning solution. Proper assessment and preparation set the cleaning process up for success.

The application of the selected cleaning solutions, formulated to break down organic matter, is carried out using a low-pressure soft-wash system. The solution penetrates the buildup, gently removing the organic growth. Dwell time allows the cleaning solution to penetrate to the root of the growth; this step typically lasts between ten to twenty minutes.

Rinsing is performed using the low-pressure soft-wash system, providing a gentle rinse that leaves the exterior clean and refreshed without causing damage to the siding, paint, or other areas of the home.

The post-wash inspection ensures that all areas have been thoroughly cleaned and addresses any spots that need additional attention.
